Humor y aventuras gráficas

¿Es el humor inherente al género de las aventuras gráficas?   Es frecuente asociar las aventuras gráficas con el humor, en lo que creo una concepción del género derivada de las clásicas aventuras de LucasArts y Sierra. Pareciera que el género no pueda desligarse de las hilarantes y absurdas situaciones vividas por el aprendiz de pirata Guybrush Threepwood o el decadente ligón Larry Laffer. Pero, ¿hay vida más allá del humor?   Evidentemente sí la hay. Algunas de las mejores aventuras gráficas se alejan por completo de la senda de lo humorístico para adentrarse en mundos oscuros o tétricos futuros y otras exploran otro tipo de historias muy diferentes.
